Our History
New Heritage Theatre Group, (NHTG) through its embrace of authentic black voices in the US and South Africa, has elevated the Soweto Uprising’s significance in shaping history and inspiring change. Through the work of Mbongeni Ngema and his creative partnerships NHTG has helped build a global platform for the promotion of culture, understanding, creative commerce, and lasting artistic legacy.
